An RF-84F – presumably of the 107th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron, given the tinge of ‘yellow tail’ visible on the bird in the background – receives some TLC at the hands of her ground crew. Judging from what can be seen of the aircraft’s serial number stencilled at the 12:00 position on the firewall, this may be either ship 52-7423 or 428. The apparatus bolted onto the firewall is to facilitate engine replacement.
