This was a great article and brings back many memories. I was one of the two Flight Test Engineers assigned to testing the XB-48. The other was Bill Sparrow. My wife Marilyn was also part of the analytical group at the Martin Airport converting the XB-48 Test Data from the wire recorders into a more usable form. Pappy Tibbs, Dutch Gelvin, and Chris Christoferson the Test Pilots were good friends
