    I have a “short shooter” dollar bill dated 6-2?-1943 signed at Eglin Field, Florida held by my father-in-law Ed Foreman, signed by E.A. Erickson and 7 others. I also have a home movie of the first JATO launches mostly from what is now Edwards AFB.

    I have an envelope which notes the First Flight, Convair B-58 “Hustler” , First Weapons Systems Delta -Wing Jet Bomber. It has the date of Nov. 11, 1956 and is autographed by Pilot B.A. Erickson. I am 72 and was in the Air Force and stationed at Carswell AFB, from 1960-1963. I worked in Aircraft Maintenance Accounting (Early Computer Support) for all the Aircraft at Carswell AFB including the B-58’s in the 43rd BW. That aircraft was the most beautiful plane ever made to support the Air Force.
