Impressive picture of the RB-47 and its crew. I have to build a model of it once I have all the conversion details of all the ECM and radome pods it has mounted to the fuselage and on wings.

I was Stationed at FAFB from 1957 to 1961. Started as member of 343rd SRS but then was transferred to 50th OMS 19 1958. Was a crew chief and worked on this plane. Appears to be either 4298 or 4299. If 4299 it is now renovated and on display at AF Museum at Wright Patterson AFB http://www.flickriver.com/photos/fun_flying/tags/rb47h/ as of 2-11-12 and I have a video of it’s last flight in around 1964 when it was presented to the City of Salina, KS as a memorial at the forme Schilling AFB.

That is a great picture. I was in the 55th OMS from 1962-1966. I got out of the airforce just before my plane left Forbes. The plane I worked on is now in the Airforce meseum in Dayton, Ohio.
