    Joe was killed demonstrating a low altitude take-off roll with too much fuel aboard. He requested a light fuel load but was given a full full load instead and did not notice this grave error.

    That is what happened, but there was something wrong with the tail. Joe was my Father. It was covered up to look like pilot error

    The engineers had rigged the tail with a bolt. He could not get enough rudder. He was my grandfather.
